Family Fun Plantation FL Halloween & Safety Festival

Halloween time is upon us and there is no shortage of Halloween family fun events going in Plantation, FL. One of the most popular events is the

Plantation Halloween & Safety Festival on October 26th 2013 from 10am to 2pm.

This year the Halloween Festival has an all new location, Volunteer Park Community Center, in past years this festival was held in East Plantation at the Plantation Community Center, which has been demolished.

I'm excited to see the Plantation Halloween and Safety Festival in its all new location in West Plantation. The admission to the event is $3 per person for anyone 2 years and older.

One of the biggest attractions to the Plantation Halloween and Safety Festival is the K9 demonstration by the Plantation Police Dept K9 unit. There are also other police and fire exhibits, along with an ID Card station, where parents can  also get ID cards made of their children complete with pictures and fingerprint.

Now the FUN! There is food, face painting, games, bounce houses, puppet shows by the FAMOUS Plantation Library Puppeteers, and a zombie diner- wonder what their Yelp! reviews say.

Most importantly, the Plantation Halloween and Safety Festival would not be complete without a costume contest, usually judged by audience participation so go with your rowdy friends, and of course CANDY!

So sugar up the kiddies and head over to the Plantation Halloween and Safety Festival on October 26th and have them burn off some energy in the bounce houses and playing with neighbors.

You don't have to be an Plantation, FL resident to join in all the fun at the Plantation Halloween and Safety Festival, but wouldn't it be great if you lived in Plantation to be closer to this great event. Now is a great time to buy a home in Plantation, FL and your search can begin today.
