What is recyclable in the city of Plantation, FL? One item that definitely is NOT recyclable are PIZZA BOXES... Personally, I would have never had guessed that! After learning this interesting recycling fact, I thought it would be a good idea to review the recycling guidelines for the city of Plantation, FL.  

 

 

 

 

 

Here are some quick tips for recycling in Plantation, FL:

1. Place all recyclables together in the SAME recycling container.
2. In the city of Plantation, all plastics #1-7 are recyclable.
3. Newspapers, inserts, catalogs, junk mail (mailings from other Realtors ;) office paper, soft covered books, folders, cereal boxes are recyclable in Plantation, FL.
4. Cardboard boxes need to be flattened

Plantation, FL Art in the Park Event November 9 & 10, 2013

Another time honored traditional is happening this weekend.

Come visit the Plantation Junior Woman's Club for the 47th Annual Art in the Park at Liberty Tree Park in Plantation, FL.

Saturday, November 9, 2013  9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday, November 10, 2013 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

 

The Plantation Junior Woman's Club Art in the Park Event is a Juried Fine Art and Craft Show in Plantation FL. The parking and admission is FREE!

Art in the Park at Liberty Tree Park, is one of the most popular events in Plantation, FL and is fun for the whole family.

Art in the Park is the perfect way to take advantage of the beautiful South Florida fall weather. Gather some friends and neighbors and sip glass of wine, beer, or a mimosa while strolling along the windy brick path of Liberty Tree Park. Take your time to enjoy the beautiful art work and crafts, and perhaps find a special piece to add to your own collection. Art in the Park is a great opportunity to find holiday gifts for the people who seem to have everything.

Art in the Park is a fun event for everyone and you can spend the whole day enjoying the art, food, and live music. Kids can enjoy "Kids' Corner" near the playground for all the kids friendly activities. Kids can enjoy making sand art creations, bounce houses and other activities. Many of the proceeds from the Art in the Park "Kid's Corner" goes directly to City of Plantation Schools and Plantation student scholarships.
